Hi folks, Please listen up! For anyone who has wanted to make it to the jam and hasn't found the time, this is your last chance!! If we don't get enough participation this week (people who come and spend money) this will be the last Jazz Jam at The Bean Runner Cafe. Ted Bitters and Drew Claxton, the owners, love jazz and really want to support all the music at the club, but it must be economically viable to continue and that is up to ALL OF YOU. So, this Wed. Sept. 30th at The Bean Runner Cafe 201 S. Division St. Peekskill, NY 10566 914-737-1701 www.beanrunnercafe.com for directions {Pleases ignore the incorrect closing time on their website.} The Cafe has free WiFi.
The Jam starts at 7:30 PM & goes to 10:30 PM. Musicians are welcome to sit in. [There is a sound system for vocalists]. The trio this week is Neil Alexander on keyboards and a special appearance by Peter Brendler on bass with myself on drums & cymbals.
This is a great venue with an owner who supports all the arts. There is really good food and [non alcoholic] drinks and wonderful smoothies! All ages welcome! As always, we need YOU to support this music & venue. WITHOUT YOUR CONTINUED ACTIVE SUPPORT [showing up & spending some $$$] WE CANNOT HAVE A JAZZ JAM. Please come out & support live creative music in Peekskill. Thanks. Admission is $5.
